As I’m sure all of you know, there are some changes coming to our Up North Parishes.  I hope this post will answer some questions I’ve heard through the grapevine.

First:  The daily texts have ceased because of the unreliability of the services.  Yes…services.  I encountered increasing difficulties with the app I was using as the list of recipients increased.  I don’t think it (the app) was meant to handle LARGE volumes of  texts. Also, the cellular service I was using was shoddy, at best.

So, subscribe to THIS WEBSITE (click here) to get the bulletin, Sunday homilies, and occasional writings pertinent to the Catholic life.  This is my personally owned website.  It operates on the WordPress platform, and I promise I won’t sell your email addresses to scammers!🤔😂

Second:  Because I no longer need the phone for texting, I researched a more convenient (& cheaper!) option for the sacramental emergency (LAST RITES) phone line.  However, that necessitated a change in phone number.

Third:  With St. John Cantius joining the three Lake County churches, the Lake County Catholic email addresses need an update.

*Please note that on Fridays at St. Bernard, Adoration will continue after holy Mass & conclude @12pm with Day Prayer (Liturgy of the Hours) and Benediction.
