A Letter from Your Father–9/4/2025

FIRST PRINCIPLES & HISTORY

Dear children,

The Divinely mandated responsibility of Christ’s Holy Catholic Church encompasses the entirety of the human person—the salvation of the soul FIRST!, but the mind and body, as well. Thus, Holy Mother Church not only built great cathedrals and sent missionaries around the world to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ, she also founded universities, hospitals, and so much more.

Therefore, it is irrefutably clear that the ministry of the priest—the parish’s spiritual father—is not limited to just teaching the Faith. As a funny & simple example, if I was sent as a missionary to a place where some of the people thought it best to build their outhouses right next to their water wells, it would be incumbent upon me, as their father (& BECAUSE I’m their father), to teach them otherwise.

In that vein, I offer you the following.
